Suizhu
The yearly pillar cast against the natal chart. The reading of seasons within seasons — what this year asks of this person.

Name and birth-date rendered in their numeric register. The architecture of the personal count — Pythagoras's old arithmetic of character.

Western astrology
The tropical zodiac — twelve signs, twelve houses, ten planetary bodies. Birth chart, transits, progressions. The language of the sky at the hour you arrived. We read this as Hellenistic astrology, grounded in Ptolemy, refined by traditional and modern authors.
Ba Zi · 八字
The four pillars — year, month, day, hour — each a pairing of heavenly stem and earthly branch. Five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) in generative and controlling cycles. The Chinese reading of fate from time, encoded as a grid.
Sui Zhu · 歲柱
The year-pillar breath — annual cycles mapped against the personal chart. How the year itself leans; where its weight falls; when to hold, when to release. We use sui zhu as the year-over-year counterpoint to the birth matrix.
Numerology · Pythagorean
The birth number, the personal year, the name number. Seven is the observer; four is the foundation. Old arithmetic, read plainly. We follow the classical Pythagorean reduction, not the "chaldean" variant.
